Avcair After the Pandemic

The Collaboration Between Aviation and Healthcare Industries During COVID
It is remarkable to reflect on the time when the world came to a standstill due to the pandemic merely three years ago. A challenging period for everyone, it served as a poignant reminder that, despite living in a digital age driven by binary code, our existence as human beings transcends mere data. The crisis underscored our fundamental need for essentials such as food, vaccines, and personal protective equipment (PPE), shining a spotlight on the criticality of supply chains. This emphasis remains relevant today.
Personally, my involvement during the pandemic revolved around collaborating with the healthcare sector to facilitate the delivery of PPE and vital goods manufactured abroad to frontline workers. This collaboration between the aviation and healthcare industries exemplified cooperation at its finest. Though a distressing period, I take immense pride in contributing my part to keep things moving forward.
Throughout this time, I partnered closely with my associates Michael Cooke and Phil Everitt at Avcair. Together, we meticulously sifted through dubious charter requests, distinguishing them from authentic appeals, steadfastly prioritizing genuine needs. Our efforts translated into orchestrating flights from various locations worldwide to destinations like the UK, Australia, Netherlands, USA, and Canada, carrying essential supplies ranging from PPE to food.
Avcair’s Expansion Post COVID
Despite the geographical distance, with Mike and the team stationed in Brisbane, Australia, and myself based in London, UK, we worked tirelessly during the lockdown. The camaraderie and dedication we shared not only made the work fulfilling but also fostered a memorable experience.
Our collaboration persisted post-pandemic, leading to Avcair's expansion and the establishment of its inaugural international hub in Singapore. Today, the company stands tall as one of Australia's fastest-growing enterprises, a testament to our enduring partnership and commitment to making a difference.
The Avcair and Boston Warwick relationship is one I'm personally proud of and am very excited to see what Mike, Phil and their team achieve in the next few years.
